What will you be doing in this role?
Working as part of our Tenancy Management Team, you will be providing support, advice and assistance to residents by investigating and challenging acts of ASB. You will be signposting tenants to other agencies for expert help. You will also create and maintain working relationships with local authorities such as the Police and Lancashire Fire and Rescue. You will also be a ‘Safeguarding Champion' for the organisation, ensuring our tenants are living in safe homes free from neglect and abuse.
What we are looking for:
- You will have the ability to communicate effectively with excellent customer service skills.
- You will comfortably deal with challenging behaviour and individuals who are in crisis.
- You will have a natural flair for problem solving and supporting colleagues in your team.
- You will have the ability to manage your own case load.
- You will have great working knowledge of Tenancy Management/Community Safety and fully understand the importance of confidentiality.
- You are self-motivated, confident and a team player.
It would be great if you also had:
- Basic knowledge of safeguarding and making referrals to external agencies.
- Basic knowledge of relevant legal tools and powers.
- Experience working in a similar role within social housing.
