Job Purpose:
To install audio visual equipment and bespoke streaming systems within local government sites across the UK.
Key Responsibilities:
- Install AV hardware and meeting room solutions, including sound systems, screens, cameras, control systems, and assistive hearing loop systems.
- Assemble AV racks on-site and off-site.
- Terminate cables and install structured cabling in alignment with company standards.
- Attend proactive maintenance visits and reactive service calls as needed.
- Install control systems and DSPs from brands such as Kramer, Crestron, QSYS, and Extron.
- Travel regularly to sites throughout the UK.
- Lead sub-contractors on-site.
- Attend training courses as required.
Qualities and Skills Required:
- At least 1 year of experience installing audio visual systems.
- Confident in terminating cables and assembling AV racks.
- Willingness to travel and work away from home as needed.
- Full clean UK driving licence.
- Full right to work in the UK.
Qualities and Skills Preferred:
- Manufacturer certificates in systems such as Kramer, Crestron, QSYS, or Extron.
Package:
- Salary between £30K - £45K (DOE).
- Overtime rates up to 2X.
