Tradewind Recruitment are currently recruiting for a dedicated and experienced Teaching Assistant to join a thriving Secondary School in Middleton, Rochdale. This is a fantastic opportunity for an enthusiastic and confident professional looking to make a real difference to young people's education and development.

We are seeking candidates who have a minimum of one year's experience working within a UK Secondary School setting. Unfortunately, applicants without this experience cannot be considered for this role.

Key Responsibilities:

• Providing 1:1 support for students with SEND and SEMH needs, ensuring tailored assistance to help them achieve their full potential.

• Managing challenging behaviour effectively, maintaining a positive and supportive learning environment.

• Supporting teachers within the classroom by being proactive, adaptable, and highly collaborative.

• Assisting in the delivery of lessons and activities that engage and motivate students.

Ideal Candidate:

• Strong classroom management skills and the ability to respond calmly and effectively to challenging situations.

• Experience supporting students with a variety of needs, particularly those with SEND and SEMH.

• A proactive and professional approach, with a genuine passion for supporting young people.

• Team-focused, with excellent communication skills to work closely with teaching staff.

This is an immediate start position, offering £90-£100 per day, with ongoing support from Tradewind Recruitment.
