Contract: Part-time, 22.5 hours per week – 3 days per week (flexible).
About the Role: KUSCO is seeking a proactive and customer-focused Events / Hospitality Administrator to help drive income through events, conferences, and hospitality services. You will play a key role in organizing and delivering exceptional experiences for internal and external clients—from meetings and conferences to weddings and private events.
Key Responsibilities:
- Event Coordination: Plan, organize, and oversee events, ensuring all logistics run smoothly.
- Client Liaison: Work closely with clients to understand their needs, ensuring high satisfaction.
- Contract Management: Support the management of service provider contracts, including bus contractors and fleet maintenance.
- Administration: Maintain the administration function of the Conference Office to ensure it is always up to date.
- Financial & Performance Reporting: Assist in compiling monthly performance reports and monitoring budgets.
- Marketing & New Business Development: Help promote and sell Kingston University’s facilities, identifying new revenue opportunities.
- Sustainability: Play an active role in sustainability initiatives.

What we need from you:
- Financial reporting experience – good standard of numeracy.
- Ability to work with little supervision.
- Ability to work on your own initiative and be assertive with clients where required – terms & conditions, intake, credit control situations.

- Multicultural Appreciation.
- Strong IT skills, i.e. Microsoft Office Skills and Excel in particular.

- Previous experience of working cooperatively with others in a team.
- A very high standard of spoken and written English.

- The ability to come up with creative new ideas and ways of seeing and doing things.
- Ability to travel between the various campuses and sites.
