Are you ready to make your mark as a Cloud FinOps Manager?
We are seeking an ambitious individual to join a dynamic team, working with a global defence technology company, and leading the optimisation of cloud spend in Azure.
In this role, you’ll spearhead a new FinOps approach within the company, working hands-on to implement cost strategies and support teams in developing robust cloud cost management processes.
As part of the Service Management team, you will play a key role in driving the adoption of FinOps practices across the Azure ecosystem. This is an exciting opportunity to be at the forefront of the company’s cloud optimisation efforts, guiding teams on their FinOps journey and ensuring sustainable cloud cost control.
What You’ll Bring
- Proven leadership experience in driving FinOps initiatives and projects.
- Expertise in establishing and managing Cloud FinOps operations and governance frameworks.
- Strong background in defining IT recharge models and cost allocation strategies.
- Demonstrated ability to handle multiple projects concurrently while effectively managing priorities to meet deadlines.
- In-depth knowledge of cloud cost optimisation strategies, along with experience in cloud platform billing and metering.
Location: Hybrid working, with 1 day a week needed on site in Farnborough.
