Unity Business Services Recruitment Team deliver recruitment campaigns on behalf of HMRC. Our vision is to use the most innovative and creative methods to reshape recruitment and reduce the time it takes to hire to help HMRC deliver critical front-line services to the public. We work with vacancy holders to deliver each stage of the recruitment process, and lead on an ambitious programme of work to transform recruitment on behalf of HMRC.

We are seeking a Recruitment Performance, Reporting and Planning Officer to support with the development of data processes, designed to enhance planning, reporting and delivery across all recruitment teams.

In this position, you'll analyse recruitment data to drive informed decision-making, working with various stakeholders to enhance our recruitment processes. You'll maintain comprehensive reporting systems, extract valuable insights from data, and support the implementation of innovative data management solutions. Your expertise in data analysis and reporting will be essential as you work with recruitment teams to build their data capabilities. You'll work on multiple projects, maintain data accuracy, and provide insights which will be used to support senior leaders. Using tools like PowerBi and advanced Excel functions, you'll help shape how we understand and improve our recruitment performance.

You’ll be supporting with the team's three main priorities:

  • Providing UBS Recruitment Teams with team level data requests.
  • Producing KPI metrics and supporting the Data Manager with business level data and analysis.
  • Supporting the Data manager to produce meaningful forecasting insights.

This will require:

  • Strong collaboration skills and the ability to work to deadlines, maintaining and analysing recruitment data and ensuring accuracy.
  • Excellent organisational skills with the ability to be proactive and work independently to ensure outputs are delivered as required.
  • Understanding the different recruitment processes across each team to make recommendations for data collation and reporting.

The Recruitment Performance, Reporting and Planning Officer role may also encompass ad-hoc tasks related to UBS recruitment and any related projects.

Roles and responsibilities may include but not be limited to:

  • Extracting and manipulating data for reporting on recruitment timelines, SLAs, KPIs and recruitment forecasts.
  • Producing data reports for a variety of stakeholders including senior leaders and business groups.
  • Supporting UBS Recruitment Teams with ad-hoc data reporting.
  • Supporting UBS Recruitment Teams to increase their capabilities in the use and importance of accurate data.
  • Providing direct support to the HO Recruitment Reporting & Planning Manager, including the implementation of new ways of collating, storing and analysing data.

Essential Criteria:

  • Experience of data analysis, insight, and reporting.
  • Knowledge and experience of using PowerBi desktop to either build or amend existing dashboards.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft applications including Excel, Word and PowerPoint including experience of creating and using advanced Excel formulas.
  • Proven experience of managing multiple projects to meet deadlines.
  • Ability to manage own workload and prioritise tasks.
  • Ability to work independently and proactively seek out solutions to meet a brief.
  • Commitment to continuous improvement.
  • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.

Desirable Criteria:

  • Experience of recruitment processes.
  • Experience of working with an Applicant Tracking System (ATS).
