SThree are delighted to announce that we’re recruiting for a talented full-time Commission and Bonus Analyst to join our team at SThree, on a 12 month Fixed Term basis. The primary responsibility of the Commission & Bonus Finance Analyst is to ensure that commission information is up to date and accurately calculate commissions for the sales team. The C&B Analyst will ensure that the sales data and the relevant personal information is up to date before working on the commission and bonus calculations. In addition, where necessary, ensuring that any Target changes are signed off and preserve integrity. They will also manually calculate any additional incentives, contribute to scheme design to ensure salespeople are focused on the optimum behaviour and generate & send commission information to payroll for payment.

Examples of key responsibilities include:

  • Help to ensure a smooth delivery of all commission and bonus calculations and payments, including target setting and facilitation of automated commission schemes within Xactly Incent, the Group incentive compensation system.
  • Target setting and calculation of non-automated commission and bonus schemes.
  • Validation and processing of manual claims.
  • Performing manual adjustments.
  • Modelling and scenario testing for new and changing schemes.
  • Presentation of results for quarterly Bonus & Commission awards to Senior Stakeholders in Finance and Sales prior to administering the payments.
  • Work as a team to resolve complex queries from the business regarding payments, schemes & processes.
  • Meet SLAs and act swiftly to oversee the achievement of agreed targets.
  • Work with other Operations teams to improve the quality of the data flow through the E2E finance and commissions systems including Mercury, D365/SAP and Xactly systems.
  • Contribute to process improvements and efficiency; work with the Continuous Improvement Team to better utilise and develop the systems and technology available such as Power BI, SAP BI and Xactly.
  • Work to ensure the Group Commission and Bonus team has an excellent reputation with the wider business.
  • Regularly report on commissions & Bonus as requested by the Regional Financial Controller, Sales & Finance leadership, including the Regional Finance Business Partners, Managing Director and Sales Directors.

Knowledge, Skills & Experience:

  • Familiar with the Microsoft suite of programs, in particular strong Excel skills (Essential).
  • Demonstrated ability to work with multiple stakeholders (e.g. sales management) and internal customers (e.g. salespeople) effectively (Essential).
  • Experience with commission schemes and calculations; Payroll and particularly Accounting function experience (Desirable).
  • Experience in a global organisation (Desirable).
  • Demonstrated experience of maintaining a system (e.g. Xactly) (Desirable).
  • Salesforce/Mercury or other CRM experience from a user and back-office perspective (Desirable).
  • Bachelors degree or equivalent work-experience.
