Building Surveyor / Maintenance Surveyor (Local Authority)

Were working with the Housing Asset Management team of a Local Authority / Borough Council.

They require additional Building Surveyors as follows:

• Working on a day rate of £200 on a rolling contract basis
• Acting as a lead professional in all aspects of repairs and maintenance across the boroughs housing portfolio
• Condition Surveys
• Managing response repairs, cyclical maintenance and major works projects, ensuring all works come in on time and to budget
• Overseeing appointed contractors, including H&S compliance
• Liaison with internal stakeholders as well as tenants/residents in relation to project updates and information
• You must drive and carry insurance for business use on your vehicle

The suitable Building Surveyor/Maintenance Surveyor will come from a residential projects background and be familiar working within local authority on social housing schemes.

This position is offered on a £200 day rate on a rolling contract with a minimum 6 month term.
