Our client, a provider of adult social care services, is looking to expand into the children's home sector. My client requires an experienced advisor to help them part time for circa 6 months.
As the internal advisor, you will play a critical role in mentoring the Responsible Individual, overseeing the Registered Manager, and driving the implementation of the action plan.
Key responsibilities include:
- Providing hands-on guidance and coaching to the Responsible Individual to ensure Ofsted compliance
- Overseeing and validating the work of the Registered Manager in implementing operational improvements
- Reporting directly to the board on progress
- Serving as a co-Responsible Individual alongside the existing post-holder
I am seeking an individual with extensive experience in children's social care, ideally including prior involvement in Ofsted-registered settings. You must have a proven track record of successfully launching children's services and the gravitas to command the confidence of both the organisation and the regulator.
