Role overview:

Responsible for maintaining all aspects of harbour vessels, with regular servicing of the engines, repair work, breakdowns and fault finding. The successful candidate will also be an integral part of the crew of all the harbour vessels. The successful candidate must be flexible and able to work unsocial hours.

Essential Criteria:

  • Hold a relevant STCW recognised engineering certificate of competency.
  • Minimum two years relevant experience.
  • Hold a Seafarer medical certificate (Eng. 1 or 11) - can be arranged prior to appointment.
  • Must be able to work at heights and in confined spaces.
  • Basic IT skills to include experience using MS Office applications such as MS Outlook, MS Excel, MS Word and other IT systems such as Computerised Maintenance Management Systems and online training platforms.
  • Full current driving licence or access to a form.
