A leading European Manufacturer of high-value Capital Equipment sold into the Food & Drink sector. This business is a part of an international group of engineering companies. Expansion and investment is driving the business forward.

Duties:

  • Design, Develop and Commission control software
  • PLC Programming and HMI Configuration
  • Creating Functional Design Specifications (FDS)
  • Creating Software Design Specifications (SDS)
  • Remote commissioning and support
  • On-Site Commissioning and support (UK and Overseas)
  • Technical Troubleshooting
  • Preparing associated documentation and manuals

Experience:

  • Qualified in Electrical, Electronic or Mechatronic Engineering
  • Experience of working with PLC’s on Special Purpose Machinery / High Value Production Machinery
  • PLC Programming (Siemens and Allen Bradley/Rockwell)
  • Work with SCADA / controls software
  • Confident with diagnostic fault-finding
  • Strong communication skills (verbal and written)
  • Well organised with the ability to work independently and part of a team

Salary & Benefits:

  • Salary: £55,000 pa - £70,000 pa (depending on experience)
  • Place of Work: Home and Field Based
  • Hours: 37 hours per week
  • Vehicle: Company Car
  • Overtime: Paid at enhanced rate
  • Annual Holidays: 25 days + Bank Holidays
  • Pension: 6% Employer Contribution
  • Medical: Private Healthcare for Employee (Family can be added)
  • Life Assurance: 2x Salary
