Aeropeople have partnered with a multinational conglomerate, a global designer and manufacturer of electronic instruments and electromechanical devices, who are now looking to hire a permanent Electrical Fitter, to be based at their site in Stanstead. The successful candidate will be expected to be on site 5 days per week.

Established more than 60 years ago, they employ more than 21,000 employees in 35 different countries. They are a leading global provider of industrial technology solutions serving a diverse set of attractive niche markets, recognised as a global provider of third-party MRO services to commercial, regional and general aviation customers as well as military, helicopter and business jet markets.

The role of the Electrical Fitter will be to support the team with testing, inspecting, repairing and overhauling all components within the section. This will consist of electrical components from GCU’s emergency power supplies, pyrometers and galley heaters.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Perform workshop activities for Avionics or Heater departments to support customer demands.
  • Update and interact with scheduling boards, giving feedback on daily issues or concerns.
  • Maintain and ensure implementation of all standard operating practices and procedures.
  • Ensure strict compliance and implementation of all safety standards.
  • Meet health, safety and environmental regulations.

  • Early Finish on Friday (39 hour week/ standard hours 8-4.30pm Mon to Thursday and 4pm finish on Friday), Overtime when work allows.
