The Role
Working closely with senior legal leadership, you’ll take charge of various property-related legal matters, ensuring compliance, negotiating agreements, and providing strategic legal support. Key Responsibilities
- Handling Property Transactions: Drafting, negotiating, and reviewing key documents such as leases, easements, and site-sharing agreements while liaising with external counsel and stakeholders.
- Securing Land Access & Easements: Working alongside grid teams and project managers to facilitate substation leases, cable routes, and wayleaves in a commercially viable manner.
- Supporting Due Diligence & Project Funding: Resolving legal challenges, negotiating terms, and streamlining project completion for investors and stakeholders.
- Risk & Compliance Oversight: Providing legal guidance on GDPR, conducting internal training, and assisting leadership in risk management strategies.
Who We’re Looking For
- Property Law Expertise: A qualified solicitor with a strong background in property law, preferably within renewable energy or infrastructure sectors.
- Strong Negotiation Skills: Proven experience in handling complex property agreements.
- Attention to Detail & Problem-Solving Ability: Comfortable with title reviews, due diligence processes, and legal risk mitigation.
