With a current team of five, we’re looking for a talented Mechanical Design Engineer to join us and play a key role in shaping our future.
The Role: We’re seeking a Mechanical Design Engineer with experience in SolidWorks (or similar CAD software such as CATIA). You’ll be responsible for designing components, assemblies, and systems, ensuring they meet functional, manufacturing, and performance requirements. This is a hands-on role in a fast-paced environment, ideal for someone who enjoys taking ownership of their work and contributing to a company with exciting growth ahead.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and develop mechanical components and assemblies using SolidWorks (or CATIA, etc.).
- Produce 3D models, technical drawings, and BOMs for manufacturing.
- Work closely with engineers and suppliers to ensure feasibility and manufacturability.
- Take designs from concept through to production, seeing your work come to life.
- Manage design files and documentation with attention to detail and accuracy.
- Collaborate on innovative engineering solutions to push automotive design boundaries.
About You:
- Degree or equivalent in Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, Product Design, or similar.
- Proficiency in SolidWorks (or CATIA, Siemens NX, etc.).
- Experience in automotive, motorsport, or high-performance engineering is a plus.
- Strong understanding of engineering principles, materials, and manufacturing processes.
- Passion for automotive design and performance engineering.
- Organised, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple projects.
- Comfortable working in a small team, contributing ideas, and adapting to challenges.
