About The Role: As a Product Owner, you should be a highly motivated person, with a genuine interest in technology, a self-starter attitude, and a passion to deliver the best product experience to our customers, clients and our client’s customers. You will be expected to play a leadership role in our software development teams, supporting them on Agile and Scrum best practices, and working with our stakeholders to listen, innovate, develop, and deliver incredible products in a fast-paced environment. You will be a subject matter expert leading Product Team(s) and / or Domain(s) that evolve and manage our Trade-In & Device Lifecycle products. You will lead the build of platform capabilities that can be seamlessly integrate into the Client’s sales channels to complete a valuation of a trade-in device. Similarly, you will lead the build of the platform capabilities that integrate deep into the reverse supply chain to track the progress of a trade-in device from trade-in through to grade validation through to disposition. You will closely collaborate with Domains that facilitate the evolution of the wider platform including financing, device protection and warranty. Key responsibilities: Take a leadership role of our software development teams as a Product Owner focussed evolving our platform capabilities to deliver trade-in and device lifecycle propositions. Provide guidance and steering in one or more of the following areas: Device Diagnostic & Valuation; Reverse Supply Chain Integration; Device Dispositioning (including Inventory and Auction integration). Work with Product Managers and Professional Service stakeholders to onboard new microservices, reverse supply chain and dispositioning partners. Define and deliver the Products against commercial deadlines and effectively manage and prioritise the backlog of work across client implementations, product innovation and continuous improvement. Define product vision for your specific domain, growth opportunities and deliver optimisation to improve the digital customer experience against KPI’s. Collaborate closely with Product and Professional Services to ensure the team’s delivery roadmap is aligned with our wider business strategies, prioritising the work to deliver the best ROI. Work within your cross functional Domain team and wider Domain teams to capture requirements (from EPIC to User Stories), utilising best practices including Domain Driven Design. Facilitate meaningful dialogue between all stakeholders including business users, product management and the product teams to derive requirements and design. Track the build of all products including the preparation and presentation of Burn Up / Down charts. Lead Product release plans for your Domain and manage interdependencies & blockers with other product teams & supporting functions. Stay abreast of market trends and industry best practices bringing those insights and learnings into the team. Be an ambassador for making Glow a fantastic place to work, through promoting a healthy team culture, high collaboration, Agile and Scrum best practices and effective ways of working to the team. Requirements and qualifications: 5 or more years experience as a Product Owner with experience of integrating with consumer electronics sales checkout (including online, telesales & stores) and / or integrating with reverse supply chain operations. University level (or equivalent) in a STEM subject or similar relevant field. Experience using common design approaches such as DDD, BDD & TDD. Experience of using Confluence, Jira, Figma or similar SDLC toolsets. In-depth knowledge of Agile and Scrum Outstanding communication, presentation, and leadership skills. Excellent organisational and time management skills. Sharp analytical and problem-solving skills A creative thinker with a vision. A strong eye for detail.
