The Role:To interpret jobcards and process Retail, Warranty & R&M claims in an efficient and timely manner.To complete Warranty and R&M claims on Manufacturer Systems, using correct details supplied on the jobcard within manufacturer timescales.To complete retail invoices to customer accounts ensuring their processes are followed i.e. gaining Order Numbers and online authorisation where applicable.To process claims and invoices for other branches within 36 hours of receipt where possible.To deal with any invoice query efficiently and timely and respond back to the accounts team with a full update.To maintain accurate vehicle history and service records in line with customer requirements and operator licence standards & manufacturers guidelines.To maintain invoice filing by job number.Attend any training course as deemed necessary by the Admin / Service ManagerTo undertake such other tasks as may reasonably be required. These may include liasing with customers, working outside normal hours, supervising and instructing trainees, acting as Service Receptionist, etc.To enhance the image and reputation of the company whilst supporting its commercial interestsTo comply with good health and safety practice, all statutory requirements, company policies and standard procedures The key experience that successful applicants will possess is: Understanding of vehicle warrantyExperience of processing Manufacturer Warranty ClaimsUnderstanding of vehicle Repair and MaintenanceExperience of Processing R&M ClaimsAutomotive experience is a must HGV preferred but transferable skills from Car and LCV also acceptableApplicants must be willing to learn to use and work from multiple software platforms on a daily basis.Candidates will need strong and accurate administration skills and attention to detail is a must, previous warranty and invoicing processing would be a huge advantage, particularly if experienced in the world of automotive.
