Due to company growth and the creation of a new service centre, we are looking for an experienced Valve Technician to join a leading service business based near Newark. This role provides the opportunity to work on a range of valves and actuators including Control Valves, Isolation Valves, and Pneumatic Actuators.
The successful candidate MUST have demonstrable experience working with a range of Valves and be experienced in overhaul/service.
Hours: Monday - Friday 37.5 hours per week + all OT paid at premium rates
Role Description:
- Strip down and report condition of valves in appropriate valve data sheet based on 'As Found' condition prior to repair
- Follow company SOPs
- Advise and recommend corrective actions
- Promote company services/abilities at every opportunity by identifying client needs and report to Supervisor / Operations Manager
Skills / Qualifications:
- Candidates will ideally be time served in relevant Discipline
- Demonstrable experience with repairing various valves and actuators including Control / Isolation Valves and pneumatic actuators
- Full UK driving license
- Ability to accurately read, review and interpret manufacturing designs, drawings, and schematics
