Psychology graduate teaching assistant

As a Psychology Graduate Teaching Assistant, you will support students with additional learning needs in a specialist SEN setting. This role is ideal for someone who is interested in child development, educational psychology, or pursuing further qualifications in the SEN sector. Successful candidates will be shortlisted for a SEN Teaching Assistant role at a specialist SEN school in East London.

• Supporting students with special educational needs in a classroom environment
• Working closely with teachers and other support staff to provide tailored interventions for students
• Assisting with the emotional, social, and academic development of pupils
• Providing one-on-one or small group support for children with ASD, ADHD, or other complex needs
• Assisting with classroom activities, helping to maintain a positive and inclusive learning environment

• A degree in Psychology or a related subject is essential
• Experience working with children or young people, ideally in a school or SEN setting
• Passion for supporting children with special educational needs
• Excellent communication skills and a collaborative approach
• A genuine interest in pursuing a career in SEN, education, or psychology
