We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Employee Experience Design Manager for a 12-month temporary role. In this global position, you will shape and drive the strategic direction for an exceptional employee and learner experience, with a strong focus on onboarding across our worldwide locations. Your role will involve optimizing onboarding operations, tools, and processes to ensure a seamless, engaging, and efficient experience for new hires. You will collaborate closely with HR, Learning & Development (L&D), and business leaders to design, implement, and refine onboarding strategies that drive impact.
- Defining & Enhancing Onboarding Strategy: Lead the continued evolution of our global onboarding approach, tools, and roadmap to improve effectiveness and efficiency.
- Collaborating Cross-Functionally: Work with HR, learning, career development, analytics, and business teams to develop and execute onboarding excellence initiatives.
- Developing Learning Solutions: Assess new joiner learning needs, define objectives, and create live and self-paced onboarding programs in collaboration with our design team.
- Project Leadership: Oversee onboarding initiatives to ensure consistency and effectiveness, working closely with HR teams globally.
- Guidance & Best Practices: Provide expert insights and support to managers and team members on onboarding-related aspects.
- Advancing Employee Experience Design: Partner with cross-functional teams at BCG to enhance the broader employee experience design strategy.

You Have:

- 6 - 8+ years of experience in employee experience, learning & development, or related fields.
- Proven ability to apply UX design, product management, and digital tools in HR or learning contexts.
- Strong project management skills across time zones and cultures.
- Exceptional stakeholder management & communication skills.
- A proactive, results-driven mindset with high levels of initiative and ownership.
- Advanced proficiency in PowerPoint, Excel, Power BI, Power Automate, and Forms.
- Familiarity with Learning Management Systems (LMS).
- Fluent English skills (written and verbal).
The Learning & Development function is responsible for the global learning activities for the firm's worldwide knowledge and specialty businesses, as well as for the management and operations teams of the Practice Areas (PAs). We work closely with the businesses, the People Team and other BCG groups to provide our staff with world-class and high-impact learning opportunities. The Learning & Development function has launched a number of successful initiatives to help our people master their evolving roles and to support the ongoing business build and transformation in our global specialty businesses. You will work closely with our HR team, which manages the onboarding and integration of new hires worldwide, as well as our learning team and business leaders to ensure a cohesive, engaging, and efficient onboarding experience. Additionally, you will advise people managers and team members on onboarding-related matters while collaborating with teams beyond our function to enhance and expand experience and onboarding design across the organization.
