Your new company This company is an established charity that provides a range of specialist abuse support services to women, men & children across the West Midlands region. Their holistic, trauma informed support enables victims to escape violence and abuse, cope with trauma and build resilience. Your new role This role as a Specialist Advocate for Children & Young People (CYP) supports victims up to the age of 18 who have experienced violence and abuse. Your aim will be to provide a responsive, needs led service to CYP, creating a positive culture and outcome through an individual tailored support plan. The primary place of work will be within schools across Sandwell to support those affected. You will support and link police and education safeguarding leads. What you’ll need to succeed To be considered for this role, you will have prior experience of working with CYP, ideally within the capacity of working within a school. You will have experience of managing a case load which includes one-to-one interventions, group work and offering a variety of advice with the aim of building resilience in CYP.You must hold a full driving licence and be willing to use your own car for work purposes.You must be a female applicant.
