Vanbrugh Group are a construction recruitment consultancy who specialise in the recruitment of management staff for the built environment.

We are currently recruiting for our client, a highly regarded and successful Tier 1 main contractor. They have excellent staff retention through the investment and development of their employees. They hold a huge presence in London undertaking an interesting mixture of refurbishment projects that include Commercial, Education, and Public Sector contracts.

They are looking to recruit an Assistant Site Manager to provide on-site management of works. Projects currently include external and internal redecoration, brickwork repairs, roofing, roofline and window upgrades for private clients and landlords.

Responsibilities:

  • Day-to-day supervision of the contract dealing with the site teams, client and ensuring that all operatives are working efficiently and productively.
  • Ensuring that subcontractor works are carried out in accordance to the schedule and in a timely manner meeting all contract KPI targets.
  • Ensuring works are completed on time and to a high quality standard.
  • Ensure that paperwork and reports are fully completed and submitted in-line with the Company procedure.
  • Completion of appropriate paperwork such as Method Statements and Risk Assessments, delivering tool box talks.

Requirements:

  • In order to be considered for this role you will need to hold a valid SMSTS or SSSTS certificate as well as First Aid and CSCS.
  • A Full UK Driving License is also essential.
