• Demonstrable experience leading audit assignments from planning to completion
• A proven track record of the preparation of accounts and managing a varied portfolio
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build trusted client relationships
• Good leadership skills to provide mentorship to junior staff
• The passion, energy and ambition to build upon your existing skillset and experience

Job Purpose:

• Managing a diverse client portfolio across a wide range of industries
• Organising accounts and audit jobs, ensuring timely and effective delivery
• Overseeing audit engagements from planning to completion, acting as the go-to person for clients
• Supervising junior staff, including review working and knowledge sharing
• Building trusted client relationships as their main point of contact, proactively handling queries
• Championing your own professional development, undertaking training opportunities
• Staying up-to-date on relevant laws and regulations to ensure compliance in client management
• Maintaining accurate daily records by conducting activity logging
• Working directly with Managers, Directors and Partners to ensure expectations, deadlines, and budgets are being met
• Overseeing on-site work and performing accounting, auditing and computer functions

The Successful Applicant:

• Qualified, part-qualified or studying
• Qualified by experience within practice also considered
• Technically efficient across audits and accounting
• Able to handle all client information with the utmost confidentiality
• Self-motivated, reliable and eager to progress within the firm
• The ability to deliver technical knowledge as a point of call for the team
• Confident reviewing processes and improving systems to boost efficiency
• Strong communication skills are essential, both verbal and written
• Good commercial acumen
