Salary is £29,874 per annum during the first 12 months, rising to £37,823 per annum after 12 months.
We are looking for people who are passionate about delivering excellent customer service on board the CrossCountry fleet to join the team of Senior Conductors at Cambridge. Closing date for applications is Friday 11 April 2025.
As a Senior Conductor, you will be enthusiastic and have a forward-thinking approach, who excels and delivers to the highest standards at all times. It is an essential part of the Senior Conductor’s role to identify and meet our customers’ needs and expectations, taking the lead in dealing with customers in an open, friendly, confident and helpful manner.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Checking and selling tickets
- Dealing with all enquiries from customers
- Using the public address system
- Ensuring a punctual departure from every calling point
- Ensuring the safety of everyone on board
Working a variety of shift patterns from early morning to late at night – flexibility is essential to this role. Average hours are 37 per week.
You will face many different challenges whilst working on board the train, which will require you to possess an outgoing, confident personality as well as a strong commitment to customer service and a drive to work hard.
