My client is currently looking to recruit an experienced Production Engineer to join their site near Stirling. You will be working with a successful manufacturer that has a culture on site that is results-driven with a strong focus on continuous improvement. The company is well established, financially stable and has earned a reputation as an excellent employer.

The successful Production Engineer will participate in the design of production processes and equipment, supporting new product development, and solving production issues related to materials, processes and tooling to improve production efficiency and cost.

Responsibilities:
  • Support R&D and manufacturing with new product introductions
  • Creation and modification of manufacturing data (production routing and BOM data) within the ERP system
  • Technical support to manufacturing operations
  • Developing and maintaining production documentation
  • Analysing production processes and information identifying areas of improvement, using Lean, value and quality Engineering principles
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to resolve production issues
Experience required:
  • Educated to at least HND level in Mechanical Engineering, Production Engineering or similar
  • Proven experience in a production engineering role
  • Strong problem solving skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
  • Experience of Lean Manufacturing
  • CNC Programming advantageous but not essential
