Job Description Corporate Immigration Partner Corporate Immigration Partner to join a great team within a fast growing and highly successful diverse professional practice with a big demand from international clients for immigration advice and support. This is an opportunity to lead and manage a busy immigration team as well as expanding in more complex areas of UK immigration law. Responsibilities You will be expected to: Manage and develop the Immigration department including the development and growth of the department service offering and mentoring and leading of more junior lawyers. Manage your own workload which will include providing accurate and practical advice to clients on all aspects of the UK immigration and nationality law with particular emphasis on advising private and corporate clients on the operation of the Points Based System and UK visas as a whole. Assist with the preparing of applications both within and outside the Points Based System including drafting Sponsor Licence applications, Certificates of Sponsorship, Entry Clearance applications and Further Leave to Remain applications. Prepare bespoke submission instructions to assist clients filing applications overseas or in the UK. Liaise with UKVI and other government bodies while keeping clients informed of the progress of their application. Keep up to date on changes to UKVI policies and procedures and cascading knowledge as appropriate. Have a breadth of knowledge and experience in complex immigration matters and can take on complex casework. Manage clients effectively and maintain relations. Handle file management and billing administration. Lead and develop the immigration team’s knowledge and skills. Head immigration specific project work as well as advising on multiple services provided by the firm during marketing events/roundtables with new and potential clients.
