Are you an experienced and passionate Head Chef looking for an exciting project? Our busy, fresh food pub is looking for a Head Chef to assist in the running of our busy countryside pub, deliver some great dishes and manage a team. This role is perfect for a seasoned professional looking for a hands-on project that offers both challenges and rewards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Team Leadership: Lead, inspire, and manage the kitchen team, ensuring high morale and consistent quality in every dish.
  • Menu Development: Create and develop seasonal menus that incorporate our superb local rare breed pork, current food trends, delighting our diverse clientele alongside a core menu.
  • Operations: Handle the challenges of the seasonality of the business, from staffing to inventory management, ensuring smooth operations during peak periods.
  • Safety: Take initiative in all aspects of kitchen management, from maintaining high hygiene standards to optimising kitchen efficiency.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with management to ensure the pub runs seamlessly, to ensure unrivalled hospitality.
