Head of Operational Due Diligence

Our client, an independent asset management firm, is seeking a Head of Operational Due Diligence to join their London team.

Key Responsibilities include:

• Conduct operational reviews, review legal documents and significant service providers, as well as prepare ODD reports for proposed new investments
• Present the results of the pre-investment due diligence and work with the Investment team to resolve any issues identified during the process
• For existing investments; monitor procedures, including producing reports, review annual audited financial statements, provide support on any corporate action
• Keep up to date with relevant regulatory developments and compliance requirements
• Participate in client meetings and presentations
• Prepare business risk assessments, conduct operational reviews, and prepare detail reports of proposed candidates to their UCITS platform
• Annually, review the audited financial statements, the key service providers, and all sub-funds, producing reports where required
• Continue to develop and improve the sustainability program, including SFDR requirements and any client specific ESG mandates
• Continue to review internal business practices and policies to improve internal operations, and review key vendors for any operational concerns

Key Requirements:

• At least 7 years’ experience within operation due diligence team
• An accountancy qualification
• University degree
