Are you an experienced Security Supervisor looking for a new opportunity? We are recruiting for a leading supply chain warehousing solution business paying an attractive salary of £38,000. This is a busy multi-site operation so you must be able to drive due to the location of sites. You will work hand in hand with the UK Security Manager assisting with projects and all security matters within the UK.
Your duties will include:
- Secondary Security contact for UK Sites
- Assist the UK Security Manager with Projects
- Work with security contractors linked with security systems and guarding
- Carry out audits and risk assessments
- Manage and review Access control systems
- Assist with policies and processes within security
- Maintain key working relationships with stakeholders (Facilities, H&S, etc.)
- Be a point of contact for customers and assist with investigations
- Cover holidays and periods where the UK Security Manager is unavailable
- Work with manned guarding suppliers to ensure KPIs and standards are maintained
Qualification, Skills, and Attributes:
- Experience working in a previous security role is preferable
- Security planning and understanding of systems
- Ability to work as a flexible team member and embrace change
- Strong verbal and written communication skills in English
- Organised with good time management skills
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work closely with the HR team
- Proficient with Microsoft Office
- Knowledge of security software/systems is desirable
- Able to travel between sites
