The Role: Are you a dynamic and results-driven sales professional looking for an exciting opportunity to make a significant impact? New City College is seeking a Commercial Sales Executive to join our team and drive our business development initiatives. If you have a passion for sales, a knack for building strong relationships, and a desire to support employers with their training strategies, we want to hear from you!
Key Responsibilities:
- Business Development: Secure new business opportunities with external agencies and stakeholders, focusing on apprenticeships and full-cost courses.
- Client Management: Manage and grow a client portfolio, conducting Training Needs Analysis (TNA) and Organisational Needs Analysis (ONA), and maintaining regular contact with clients.
- Lead Generation: Generate and develop leads through cold calling, marketing, social media, networking, and face-to-face meetings.
- Sales Targets: Achieve monthly sales/income targets and support the wider department in meeting business objectives.
- Relationship Building: Establish and nurture strong relationships with key stakeholders both internally and externally.
- Reporting: Provide regular reports on sales activity, progress against targets, market analysis, and forecasts.
Who You Are:
- English & Maths GCSE Level 2.
- Proven experience in apprenticeship and training provision sales, with a track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets.
- Strong commercial focus, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, creative business thinking, and robust data management and reporting skills.
