Our client, an SME within IT is looking to recruit a Financial Controller. You will play a pivotal role in managing the financial health of our client’s company. You will oversee all aspects of financial operations, including Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), cashflow and cash management, payroll, and customer contract reviews. You will also liaise with external stakeholders, such as accountants, HMRC, Companies House, and other relevant parties, to ensure compliance. This part-time role offers flexibility, requiring 3-4 days per week or an equivalent reduced-hours-per-day arrangement. There is significant potential for growth in scope and hours as the company expands. Key Responsibilities: Accounts Payable (AP): Process supplier invoices, ensure timely payments, and maintain accurate records. Accounts Receivable (AR): Issue customer invoices, monitor outstanding payments, and manage customer accounts. Cashflow Management: Monitor and forecast cashflow to ensure sufficient working capital. Cash Management: Oversee foreign exchange (FX), capital management, and company liquidity. Payroll Administration: Process payroll, manage PAYE, National Insurance, and pensions, ensuring compliance.
