Quest Search & Selection are currently partnering with an industry-leading B2B media company that provides insights across various sectors, including Transportation and Pharmaceuticals. They produce leading print, digital, and global events that unite industry experts.
Your role will be to build strong relationships with both new and existing clients through cold-calling, lead follow-up, and researching new opportunities.
Key responsibilities:- Maintain and enhance existing revenue channels with clients while actively pursuing new business opportunities.
- Develop a deep understanding of the industry landscape, market trends, and key players.
- Stay informed with regular touch-points about client offerings, market spending patterns, and client investments.
- Attend client meetings and presentations to maintain strong relationships and drive business forward.
- Provide clients with detailed performance reports, identifying future opportunities and areas for improvement.
- Attend relevant industry exhibitions, conferences, and events, including potential international travel.
- Ensure the team effectively uses CRM systems to capture accurate data and manage reports, utilising this information to make informed decisions.
- Ideally having 3-4+ yearsβ experience in B2B media sales across a comprehensive product portfolio, including print, digital, events, or conferences.
- Experience leaning more towards Business Development than just Account Management.
- Strong commercial acumen with experience in the publication space.
- Proficient in IT with advanced skills in Microsoft Office (Word and Excel).
- A car and full driving licence are required.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and strong time management skills.
- Expertise in building and leading effective relationships to ensure timely and accurate information sharing.
- Keeping up to date with new procedures, media, industry knowledge, and legislation.
- Salary between Β£30,000 - Β£45,000 + OTE (DOE).
- 22 days holiday + days off between Christmas & New Year.
