Lynx Recruitment is partnering with a well-established technology integration company to find an experienced Audio Visual Engineer to join their growing team.
Our client specializes in providing integrated audio-visual solutions to corporate clients across London and the UK. With a reputation for excellence and a portfolio of high-profile clients, they offer a stable and rewarding environment for AV professionals looking to develop their careers.
As an Audio Visual Engineer, you will be responsible for the installation, configuration, and commissioning of audio-visual systems primarily in corporate environments across London, with occasional travel throughout the UK. This hands-on role will see you working directly with clients to deliver exceptional AV solutions.
Key Responsibilities:- Installing and commissioning all aspects of AV projects including wall/ceiling mounted displays, projectors, cameras & speakers
- Performing 1st and 2nd fix installation work
- Conducting pre-configuration work at the office
- Providing post-installation maintenance and service, both remotely and on-site
- Performing firmware updates and system optimization
- Responding to helpdesk tickets and providing technical support
- Delivering user training to clients
- Attending industry training courses and trade exhibitions to stay current with technology trends
- Proven experience installing and configuring corporate AV systems
- Proficiency in wall/ceiling mounting of displays, cameras, and speakers
- Strong cable installation and 1st fix experience
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
- Full UK driving license
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
- Experience with MS Teams and Zoom integration systems (Logitech/Yealink/Poly/Crestron)
- Knowledge of Shure audio equipment
- Experience with Q-SYS
- Understanding of Dante audio networking
- Networking skills
- Competitive salary between £30,000-£45,000 depending on experience
- Monday to Friday work schedule (8:30 to 5:30)
