Talent-UK are recruiting on behalf of a well-established manufacturer in the Meltham, Holmfirth area to recruit a Production Operative on a temporary to permanent basis, working days, with an early finish of 12:30pm on Friday, overtime available at uplifted rates, free onsite parking, with ongoing training and development.

Key responsibilities for the Production Operative:

  • Prepare panels in frames on the assembly table and feed assembled panels onto the machine.
  • Remove constructed panels from the machine and trim all excess and extruding wires from the panel and weld repair any loose wires as required.
  • Wrap and pack stacks of panels ensuring that the appropriate label is attached and move into stores area.
  • Report any maintenance or repairs to supervisor.
  • Assist any other aspect of factory production as required.
  • Ensure all work areas are clean, tidy and well-maintained at all times.

Experience of the Production Operative:

  • Proven experience of working in a manufacturing/production environment.
  • Use of hand and power tools.
  • In date FLT Counterbalance Licence.
  • Full UK driving licence preferable.
  • Possess excellent communication skills.

  • Starting rate of £12.50 per hour.
  • Working hours: 7:30am-4:45pm Monday to Thursday and 12:30pm finish on Friday.
  • Weekly production bonus when targets are met.
