Job Purpose: To provide an effective and efficient service through the receipting and distribution of purchases for HMP Barlinnie. Responsibilities include:
- Receipting of all Purchase orders and the distribution of purchases to relevant areas.
- Filing of completed transactions.
- Stocktaking using Agresso Finance and Minipos Software.
- Provide Forklift support to HMP Barlinnie industries areas.
- Receipt and distribute stock and finished goods liaising with Central Stores, HMP Barlinnie and other relevant Establishments.
- Receipt and distribution of goods requested and process Internal stock and finished goods requests.
- Maintain accurate filing records manually and utilising Agresso to comply with SPS Finance and Policy.
- Unloading and loading of vehicles manually or by mechanical means.
- Dealing with all administration duties and supporting Procurement Staff.
