We have an exciting opportunity for an individual to join our Liverpool FC team as the Vice President, Global Partnership Sales. This role will be responsible for leading the global sales team to secure all new commercial partnership revenue for Liverpool Football Club (“LFC”).
What will you be doing?
- Lead LFC’s Global Partnership Sales Team across all markets, overseeing all secondary and principal partner sales opportunities, as well as involvement in renewals.
- Collaborate with the CCO and CD to guide LFC’s sales strategy, budget planning, and reporting with the global sales team consisting of sales leads and sales coordinators.
- Build and maintain strong internal and external relationships to create the best path for securing new partners, working closely with the Central Team and key stakeholders to ensure alignment and adequate support for all global sales conversations.
- Manage market-specific nuances and adapt the global sales strategy to align with local needs.
- Execute the global prospecting strategy and ensure its successful implementation.
- Regularly track and report pipeline progress to the CD/CCO.
- Take ownership of the Principal Partner sales strategy in close partnership with the CD/CCO.
- Support the transition of partner prospects from the negotiation phase to launch and beyond.
- Travel extensively to engage in in-market global sales conversations, acting as the face of LFC’s Global Partnership Sales.

To succeed in this role, you should have significant, proven experience in a similar or relevant position with a strong sales track record. You will have expertise in negotiating complex partnerships and managing large sales teams. You should be skilled in creatively developing and implementing global marketing platforms and solutions for prospective brands.
The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, be a natural motivator, and have the ability to build robust stakeholder relationships both internally and externally. You will work effectively with various internal teams and be able to interact confidently at all levels within the club.
You should have excellent negotiating, problem-solving, and analytical skills, with the ability to remain calm under pressure and make sound decisions. The right candidate will have a methodical approach to work, with a keen focus on accuracy and quality. Experience with inventory and reporting systems is essential.
This role requires someone who can travel frequently and thrive in a fast-paced, demanding environment.
