A UK focused green hydrogen energy company is seeking to appoint their next HSEQ manager. The QHSE (Quality, Health, Safety, and Environment) Manager is responsible for ensuring the highest standards of quality, health, safety, and environmental management within the organization.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in the process engineering industry and extensive experience with ISO 9001, 14001, and 45001 standards. This role involves leading the implementation of QHSE systems, policies, and procedures to ensure compliance with industry regulations and best practices, as well as overseeing quality assurance for both management systems and products. The QHSE Manager will primarily work in an office environment but will also spend time on-site conducting inspections and audits. This role may involve occasional travel to other company locations or external sites.
Key responsibilities (including but not limited to):
- Develop and implement QHSE policies, procedures, and systems in line with ISO 9001, 14001, and 45001 standards.
- Lead the implementation of ISO 9001, 14001, and 45001 standards across the organization.
- Conduct regular audits and inspections to ensure compliance with QHSE standards and identify areas for improvement.
- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of QHSE management systems and make recommendations for continuous improvement.
- Lead incident investigations and root cause analyses and develop corrective and preventive actions.
- Provide training and support to staff on QHSE-related matters to promote a culture of safety and quality.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate QHSE principles into all aspects of operations and processes.
- Oversee quality assurance for both management systems and products.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry regulations, standards, and best practices related to QHSE.
- Prepare and present QHSE performance reports to senior management and stakeholders.
