We’re working with a respected North West commercial law firm as they look to recruit an Employment Paralegal to join their growing team, with the role based in either their Liverpool or Chester office. This is an exciting opportunity for someone with at least 6 months’ experience in employment law who’s looking to build on their tribunal knowledge and develop in a supportive and dynamic environment.
Responsibilities include:
- Supporting the Employment team with a wide range of respondent-side employment matters.
- Assisting in the preparation of legal documents, witness statements, and tribunal bundles.
- Liaising with clients, counsel, and third parties throughout tribunal proceedings.
- Managing case files and ensuring key deadlines and procedural steps are met.
- Attending tribunals where required and supporting solicitors with case strategy and preparation.
- Conducting legal research and keeping up to date with changes in employment legislation.
- Drafting correspondence and maintaining accurate records and notes of meetings and calls.
What we need from you:
- A minimum of 6 months’ experience in an employment law role.
- Tribunal experience, particularly supporting respondent-side work.
- Strong organisational and file management skills.
- Able to commute to either Chester or Liverpool a minimum of 4 days a week.
- A genuine interest in employment law and a desire to progress within the field.
