Are you a Corporate Lawyer with upwards of 6 years' PQE looking for a more refreshing and flexible way of working? Does the opportunity of working a portfolio career and being able to accept work that fits your capacity and other commitments strike an interest? Our client is an innovative law firm, dedicated to servicing entrepreneurial clients to include start-ups and SMEs. They pride themselves on their 'people first' approach and their recently obtained B-Corp status. They offer a unique and flexible platform for mid to senior Lawyers looking for high quality work that fits in around their capacity.

They are currently looking for a Senior Corporate Lawyer to join them on a flexible consultancy basis. They will provide the successful individual with work to fill roughly 2-3 days per week, and will pay a competitive hourly rate for the work undertaken. This consultancy work is non-exclusive and can fit alongside other work, and is fully remote.

Typically, consultants will have trained or gained some experience from a Magic Circle, Silver Circle, US or Top 50 Firm throughout their career. Candidates should be able to demonstrate the following:

  • Qualification as a Solicitor in England & Wales.
  • Upwards of 6 years' PQE in handling a range of corporate matters.
  • Training or some experience gained from a Magic Circle, Silver Circle, US or Top 50 firm.
  • Strong experience in handling a full caseload of corporate matters including mergers & acquisitions, joint ventures, corporate re-organisations, shareholder agreements and partnership agreements.
  • A genuine interest in providing legal advice to SMEs, Start Ups and Entrepreneurs.
  • A thirst for working in a refreshing and flexible manner.
