Our client, a top rated European-headquartered law firm, is globally recognised for its shipping expertise. The firm holds a strong presence in the world's most active shipping clusters, and Maritime law is a cornerstone of their business. They are known as one of the biggest names in the industry, and the Lawyers are relied upon by maritime industry clients for counsel concerning the industry's most high profile and business-critical cases and transactions.
The firm is now interested in speaking with established shipping Partners with a substantial portable practice, probably in excess of £1 million. This might include (non-exhaustively):
- P&I and Defence work
- Charterparty, bill of lading and COA matters
- MOA sale & purchase disputes
- Admiralty work (including collisions, groundings and total loss)
- Ship or terminal building finance/design/procurement
A broader practice incorporating a number of these elements would be very interesting.
Location: London.
