We're looking for a Support Driver to join our Natural Resources, Nuclear & Networks team based in Exeter.

Location: Exewater, Exeter

Contract: Permanent, full time

Our Natural Resources, Nuclear & Networks division brings the built environment to life, keeping people and businesses connected. In this role, you will be working on our Southwest Water contract, where we work on repairs and maintenance services to provide reliable, efficient, and high-quality drinking water and wastewater services.

What will you be responsible for?

As a Support Driver, you'll be working within the Natural Resources, Nuclear & Networks team, providing support to the digging gangs, delivering fittings, signs and barriers, and completing any tasks assigned by the site supervisors such as putting out "No Parking" cones, letter drops, etc.

Your day to day will include:

  • Deliver and collect signing, lighting, guarding from sites across the North Devon/Cornwall area
  • Maintain cleanliness and appearance of vehicles and equipment to a high standard, including daily vehicle checks on any vehicle driven
  • Ensure that all allocated works are completed within the notified timescales and that your supervisor is notified prior to leaving the workplace
  • Ensure that when driving, all vehicle checks are carried out and that the vehicle is driven in a safe and courteous manner

  • Valid UK driving licence
  • Experience in a similar driving role is advantageous, but not essential
