Connect Appointments are recruiting individuals to become Produce Picker Packers, with our growing food production client in Livingston, West Lothian. This is a full-time ongoing temporary position with immediate starts and full training available; working 5 days over 7, 06:00 to 15:00 - paid weekly at £12.21 p/h.
Your duties as a Picker Packer will include:
- Ensuring customer orders are accurately fulfilled and are packed to a high standard prior to shipment.
- Using warehouse machinery to move goods from storage areas to packaging areas.
- Inspecting goods for damage or faults prior to shipment.
- Loading packaged goods into containers for shipping.
- Completing paperwork or entering data into tracking software.
- Ensuring that storage areas are kept fully stocked at all times.
- Following H&S policies and procedures.
- Other general production and warehouse duties.
To be successful in this role, you will ideally have:
- Previous experience in a warehouse, production, manufacturing or similar environment.
- The ability to spend long periods of time on your feet.
- Safely and correctly stack goods on pallets for shipments.
- Work on your own and as part of a team.
