Sellick Partnership is currently recruiting an experienced Senior Legal Assistant with housing law experience to join our local authority client on a long term locum basis. Covering a 12 month maternity leave, this role will be to start Mid May.
Duties will include:
- Housing disrepair: defending claims, assessing liability, causation and level of compensation
- Possession and injunctions work: drafting NOSP's particulars of claims and drafting orders
- Advice on homelessness matters: reviews and appeals
- Advocacy in the County Court (optional)
Previous experience within housing law is required; however, some training in less familiar areas may be provided. The client is open to both hybrid and fully remote working.
