We are currently supporting one of our long-standing clients in their search for an Investment Director to join their established team, based in London. Our client is a leading investment management company who focuses on real assets and capital for growth, operating across Europe, Australia, and the United States.
This role is a senior position that will work alongside other Investment Directors and will report to respective partners depending on the transaction, fund, or activity. Our client invests in renewable energy sectors such as wind and solar, in addition to energy storage and grid infrastructure.
Role Responsibilities:
- Originate the pipeline for the Infrastructure Team and engage in pipeline management.
- Manage and complete new investments in development, construction, and operational stage investments including energy infrastructure assets and businesses that own and develop such assets.
- Oversee portfolio investments in the Infrastructure Funds, manage junior members of the team on transactions, manage exit processes of investments, and contribute to fundraising activities.
Desirable Skills:
- Minimum of 10 years infrastructure or private equity investment experience with a strong track record of leading energy and infrastructure investments.
- An understanding of typical revenue streams, risk profiles, and financial structures of infrastructure investments, in particular clean energy assets.
- Experience managing teams, project finance debt, commercial skills, and holding directorship positions on investor company boards.
