The predicted salary is between 48000 - 72000 £ per year.

Contract for our OEM in Peterborough. You would be joining the Component Engineering department, designing and developing air and fuel system components across new and current products.

To be successful you will have:

  • Six years of engineering or relevant experience in these areas.
  • Bachelor’s degree in an accredited Engineering or related discipline (or equivalent knowledge/experience).
  • Good understanding of mechanical engineering fundamentals, engine components and/or systems and component development.
  • Good understanding of manufacturing principles and processes.
  • Self-motivated and able to manage and deliver complex projects to meet commitments.
  • Effective communication skills and teamwork.
  • Expertise in fuel system, air system, EGR system, turbochargers, performance, data analysis.
  • Experience of leading and participating in APQP, FMEA and DVP&R.
  • Engineering experience gained in the off-highway diesel engine sector.
  • Experience of designing or specifying components and systems in 3D CAD (PTC Creo), and Siemens Teamcenter PLM software.

This is a hybrid role and an off highway, or automotive or heavy-duty diesel background will be considered.
