Your new role is a multi-faceted Supervisor role which will see you ensuring the smooth running of local highways schemes in the London Borough of Westminster. You will be running a tight ship making sure all the teams are operating in a timely manner. Your week will be made up of the below responsibilities:
- Putting together job packs, making sure all required documentation is included and that gangs are ready to get to work.
- Working with the Programmer to make sure KPIs are being hit, logging defects and managing people resource.
- Conducting site audits and promoting health and safety.
- Dealing with the HR requirements for your team; annual and sick leave, collecting weekly timesheets etc., health and safety.
- Managing your team to hit daily targets and running daily check-ins as they return to site.
- Having an overview of what is going on at the depot, organising purchase orders, preparing job packs for weekly Programme meetings.
About you: You will ideally hit most of the below points:
- Background in highways with demonstrable management experience.
- Attention to detail and time management skills.
- Leadership skills and able to manage diverse teams and multiple projects at one time.
- Keen decision-making skills.
- CSCS card holder.
- UK drivers licence.
