We’re delighted to support a high end residential developer located in Worcestershire as they expand their technical team with an Assistant or Technical Coordinator. Our client is proud to design and build high-quality homes, creating communities where people genuinely want to live.
There is now an exciting opportunity for a technical professional to join the business in a role that can be shaped around the successful candidate’s experience. The person they appoint will work closely with their Senior Technical Manager and report directly into the Operations Director.
Our client is looking for individuals with experience in the house building sector, ideally from an architectural or engineering background, with a working knowledge of AutoCAD highly desirable.
Key Responsibilities:- Liaising daily with external consultants to ensure timely and suitable design services
- Coordinating with Building Control and Warranty Providers to facilitate legal completions
- Addressing day-to-day construction queries from site teams
- Ensuring Part L compliance and maintaining photographic records
- Tendering to multi-utility providers and overseeing design implementation
- Managing Section Agreements through to completion (paperwork and site works)
- Reviewing and commenting on supplier drawings and technical submissions
- Supporting the legal process relating to technical legal agreements
- Liaising with Housing Associations and Management Companies
- Procuring SAP assessments and EPCs

You’ll also need to demonstrate the ability to build strong working relationships and work cross-functionally to achieve successful outcomes, while supporting colleagues across departments.
Candidate Requirements:- Minimum of 2 years’ relevant experience within residential development
- Understanding of Building Regulations and technical processes
- Experience working with multi-utility providers and Housing Associations (desirable)
- Knowledge of planning processes is desirable
- Proficiency in AutoCAD is advantageous
- A-level education or HNC qualification preferred
