Service Care Solutions is working alongside a dynamic local authority, based in Northampton, which needs an experienced Civil Litigation Lawyer to join their team. This role offers a mixed caseload and an exciting opportunity to work at a supportive and community centred council.
Location: Northampton - Court Attendance Required
Salary: £50-£55ph umbrella (rate offered will be based on experience and interview performance)
Contract Duration: 3 month rolling
Key Responsibilities of the Civil Litigation Lawyer role:
- Handle a mixed caseload of Civil Litigation law from start to completion. This will involve: Debt Recovery (inc. C/Tax, Non payment of commercial rent etc), Judicial Review, Commercial Property disputes and minimal Housing disrepair.
- Attend court in Northampton as and when required.
- Provide support to the increased capacity of the council.
Key Requirements:
- Ability to manage a mixed caseload of Civil litigation law from start to completion.
- Must be based in or able to easily travel to Northampton for court appearances.
- Must be a qualified solicitor, barrister or legal executive in England and Wales with 3+ years of PQE in Civil Litigation.
