I am looking to speak with experienced Civil Engineers to join some of the best consultancies in London. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years’ UK-based experience, with a strong background in SuDS, FRA, drainage design, and highways design, including familiarity with relevant adoption agreements (S38, S278, etc.).
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and delivery of surface and foul water drainage systems including SuDS in line with current UK standards and regulations.
- Prepare Flood Risk Assessments (FRAs) to support planning applications.
- Highways design including road alignment, levels, pavements, and traffic assessments.
- Liaise with clients, local authorities, and other stakeholders.
- Produce technical reports and design documentation.
- Ensure all designs comply with UK legislation, standards, and best practices.
Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years of civil engineering experience in the UK.
- Proficient in SuDS, FRA, and drainage design.
- Strong understanding of highways design and adoption agreements (e.g. S38, S278).
- Degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
- Proficiency with relevant software (e.g., MicroDrainage, Civil 3D, AutoCAD).
- Excellent communication and project coordination skills.
