An exciting opportunity has arisen for a CITMA-qualified Trademark Paralegal to join a highly respected intellectual property law firm in London. This is a hybrid role, offering the flexibility of two days in the office and three days working remotely. The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting the firm’s trademark attorneys, handling a broad range of trademark-related matters across various jurisdictions.
Key Responsibilities
- Managing trademark portfolios, including UK, EU, and international filings
- Preparing, filing, and prosecuting trademark applications
- Conducting clearance searches and drafting reports
- Handling trademark renewals, assignments, and oppositions
- Managing deadlines and ensuring compliance with official requirements
- Liaising with clients, attorneys, and international agents
- Assisting with contentious trademark matters, including oppositions and cancellations
- Conducting legal research and preparing case summaries
- Maintaining up-to-date records using specialist IP case management systems
About You
- CITMA Paralegal qualification (essential)
- Proven experience working in a trademark paralegal role within a reputable firm
- Strong knowledge of UKIPO, EUIPO, and WIPO procedures
