We are currently recruiting for an Infrastructure Coordinator to join the Technical Team of a leading residential developer. The engineering function within the Technical Team is responsible for delivering the infrastructure that connects new developments—ensuring roads, sewers, and utilities are in place to create sustainable and well-functioning communities. This role will involve overseeing the process of adopting roads, sewers, and public open spaces while managing associated bonds and costs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Review existing bond liabilities and identify opportunities for reduction or removal.
- Manage bond liabilities, ensuring key triggers for reductions are identified and necessary inspections and certifications are secured.
- Collaborate with the Construction Department to ensure the timely issuance of maintenance certificates for roads and sewers on completed sites.
- Approve Health & Safety Method Statements and Risk Assessments before maintenance work begins.
- Maintain and update the regional adoption schedule and completed estates report, ensuring the business remains within its bond limits.
Skills & Experience Required:
- Relevant experience in a similar role within a housing developer, highway authority, or drainage authority.
- Strong knowledge of estate roads and sewer design, construction, and inspection.
- Experience in preparing schedules of work, bills of quantities, and tender analysis.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines.
